The range of products includes soft wool Tibetan shawls, beautifully designed Kashmiri silk, fine wool and cashmere/silk mix stoles. From Australia come elegant merino wool wraps, soft wool berets, stylish sun-washed cotton and needle-cord hats. Gorgeous bags and unique handcrafted jewellery sourced world wide complement the range.The ethos behind 'ama-la' is to ethically source products and deal with suppliers who trade fairly. By supporting artisans from all corners of the world, traditional skills can continue to flourish.
The proceeds from one of our main suppliers of woollen shawls contributes towards the care and education of Tibetan refugee children.
